7 Deadly Sins ~ Beauty Tag

Hi all! This beauty tag has been around for quite awhile now, but I thought it would be fun to do! 

1. Greed: What is your most inexpensive beauty product you love?

Elf cream eyeliner? ~ $3

This cream eyeliner is one of my all time (and most used) eye makeup products. It is easy to use (I like to use a small angled brush) and has good staying power. I have been using this for quite awhile and have hardly made a dent in this.

2. What is your most expensive beauty products you love?


Sultra Bombshell Curling Wand & Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

Sultra bombshell 1 inch curling wand ~ $130

This has got to be my favorite heat tool. I don’t even use traditional curling irons anymore because of this item. This curling wand literally takes 5-15mins (depending how much hair I am curling & how tight of a curl I want) to curl my hair. It heats up really fast and is evenly heated. This is important because you do not want hot spots on your iron. Likewise, I want to mention for hot tools that I suggest (if your budget allows) to buy ceramic made. Pretty much all heating tools now are ceramic but there is a difference in the wear & tear when mentioning price. A cheaper iron typically is coated in ceramic and will wear off during the months & years with use. A more expensive iron will last you a lot longer because it is MADE of ceramic. I am not suggesting you run out and buy a $100+ iron, rather I am giving my opinion on this because this issue happened to me!

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation ~ $42

This is my “luxury” foundation. I love everything about it…the wear, color (I’m bamboo beige) and how easy it is to blend & work with. It has an expensive price tag, but I think it is worth it. This foundation does everything it says it will and works really well for me especially in the colder months as it is moisturizing. I plan to do a full review on this product very soon!

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Lipstick

NYX Lipsticks

I really like wearing lipsticks and I really only wear nude/natural shades. As I talked about before in my NYX lipstick post (click HERE to read it), my lips are very dry so sometimes it is a pain with staying power & overall look. Any tips you may have for this issue please let me know!

3. Gluttony: What are your most delicious beauty products?

Lush??

I don’t really have a good answer for this question…I do like Lush products, but haven’t bought them in awhile!

4. Sloth: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?

Body Lotion

Origins Ginger Souffle

I thought about this question for awhile and all I could come up with was body lotion. I preach that is it very important to moisturize if you self tan, and I do try my best to put lotion on after each shower. I love the smell of Origins Ginger Body Souffle!! 


However, sometimes I’m lazy and don’t feel like taking the 2 minutes to do it. I am currently looking for a spray moisturizer so I can make the process a lot quicker & easier! Has anyone tried The Body Shop’s Coconut Milk Body Spray?  

5. Pride: What beauty product makes you feel confident?

Foundation or mascara

Both of these make me feel more confident. I really like the way foundation makes your skin look flawless & mascara is a must for me! Even if I don’t have on any other makeup, I will always pop on mascara if I have a minute. I did reviews on my favorite mascaras HERE & one of my favorite foundations L'Oreal True Match HERE

6. Lust: What traits do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

A kind heart, makes me laugh, a nice smile and I like facial hair! All of these things my boyfriend has :)

7. Envy:  What item would you most like to receive as a gift?

Perfume

Kate Walsh Boyfriend

I would say perfume. I don’t typically buy perfume for myself, rather I ask for certain scents for my birthday or Christmas. This past birthday I asked for Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend. This has become my new favorite perfume! If you like woodsy scents then check it out.
