Hi! My name is Carly and I'm in love...with makeup.

I decided to create this blog as an "healthy outlet" to share my love for cosmetics and all things beauty with those who share the same passion. I love reading what other woman like to use, as well as seeing their opinions on certain products.

I am a certified makeup artist and have a certificate from a makeup artistry school. I have done some freelance work for weddings and special events. I love to see the transformation and the inner confidence that shines through. I tend to find that I feel my best when I look my best!

I worked at Ulta for almost 6 years in the past and also was a manager at a skincare store. I am no longer in cosmetics, however, I still love makeup and think of it as my hobby! I almost always do my research by reading reviews or looking for swatches of a product before I even go to the store to check it out.

I started this blog as a creative outlet. As mentioned before, many of my favorite products were found by reading reviews on other beauty blogs. I want to hopefully introduce products one may be unfamiliar with, or has just passed by at the store. I will also feature products that have been trending and have gotten a lot of hype! Products that failed to impress me will also be featured.

I have found so many of my favorite products by reading about them on other people's blogs. I want to give that back to all of you who read my posts. I love sharing my favorites and telling others about them! Likewise, I love when friends/family ask for advice on products they need or seeing what I think of an item. It feels so good to know they appreciate my opinion!

I thank all of my friends and family for being so supportive in me starting this blog. Also thanks to any of you in the beauty world for taking the time to stop by my blog. It means a lot just to know people are reading my thoughts!

I dedicate this blog to my amazing boyfriend Jon. He understands my love for makeup, puts up with it, and is willing to listen to me ramble about my great finds & deals. He is also a great source of honest feedback and will tell me the truth when I ask "what do you think of this?". He has been a great supporter of my blog and it really means a lot to me!
